The meeting of the Working Committees of Executive Board of Heads of GCC Olympic Committees began Sunday in Sheraton Doha, Chaired by HE Secretary-General of Qatar Olympic Committee Sheikh Saoud bin Abdul Rahman Al-Thani.
The meeting was held on the sidelines of a meeting of GCC Ministers of youth and sports, which will end on March 4. Heads of GCC Olympic Committees discussed resolutions that would move sports in the GCC forward. They will also look into Kuwait's proposal of holding a GCC "cultural Olympics." The heads will also discuss the proposal of President of the National Olympic Committee Sheikh Ahmed Bin Mohammed Bin Rashid Al-Maktoum.
Under Secretaries of GCC Ministries of Youth and Sport will hold a meeting tomorrow (Monday) to discuss matters related to developing sports in the GCC.
