Algeria will participate with two athletes at the World Trampoline and Tumbling Championships (men) taking place from November 3 to 10 in Florida (USA), said Wednesday the Algerian Gymnastics Federation.
The athletes are Abdennour Anneg (trampoline) and Toufik Chikhi (tumbling) coached by Aissa Mansouri and Sofiane Zahi, said the National Technical Director Rachid Hadbi.
The Algerian junior team (men) will take part in this sporting event with one gymnast, Abdelkader Sabour (15), in trampoline from November 10 to 17 in Florida.
The Algerian artistic gymnastics team (men) will take in part in the Arab championships from 2 November to 2 December in Kuwait under the leadership of coach Abdelmadjid Hadji.
Three athletes will represent Algeria namely Abdeldjalil Mohamad Bourguig, Mohamed Aouissa and Hilel Metidji.
Out of 160 countries, Algeria is at the 118th position thanks to gymnast Hilel Metidji (77.59pts).
