Dr. Shaikh Abdullah bin Ahmed Al Khalifa the Undersecretary for International Relations at the Ministry of Foreign Affairs and Chairman of Bahrain Centre for Strategic, International and Energy Studies (DERASAT) has praised HH Shaikh Khalid bin Hamad Al Khalifa Football Tournament for Youth Centres, Clubs, Persons with Disability and Girls (Khalid5).
He lauded the initiatives of HH Shaikh Khalid bin Hamad Al Khalifa, First Deputy Chairman of the Supreme Council of Youth and Sports, President of Bahrain Athletics Association and Honorary President of Bahrain Paralympic Sports Association, as well as the humanitarian dion of the tournament specially held in honour of handicapped athletes.

The tournament has been organized by the Ministry of Youth and Sports in cooperation with the Media Office of His Highness Shaikh Khalid bin Hamad Al Khalifa, and continues until September 14.

Khalid 5 Tournament, "The Generations Convergence", aims to consolidate the Bahraini community's fraternal bonds throughout Bahrain.

Shaikh Abdullah watched the first match between Sanad Youth Centre and its Zallaq counterpart.
