Kuwait holds family sports day
Family sports day
Kuwait - Arab Today
The Public Authority for Youth and Sports (PAYS) had organized a family sports day on Saturday in Al-Surra play fields.
The event aimed at spreading awareness of the benefits of sports for all family members, said director for the sports for all sector Hamid Al-Hazeem in a statement on Sunday.
Meanwhile, his deputy Waleed Al-Sultan noted that the public authority is planning to increase such activities to allow youth to spend their free time with something useful.
The family sports day was held from 10:00 a.m to 8:00 p.m., with sports events such as basketball, volleyball, ping pong, billiards and juniors football tournament.
