Kuwait national team is ready for the match against Lebanon within the Asian qualifier for the 2014 World Cup to be held in Brazil, said Sheikh Talal Al-Fahad, President of Kuwait Football Association (KFA).Speaking at a dinner banquet at the Kuwaiti Embassy in Beirut late Sunday, Sheikh Talal told KUNA that the national team was eager to play against its Lebanese counterpart, adding that the match was crucial for both teams' bid to reach the World Cup final.Osama Hussein, Kuwait National Team Manager, said that the 24-member team was in high spirit and did a practice session in preparation for Tuesday's game.He stressed that the Lebanese team was a tough competitor especially after their win against the UAE in the previous match.The Kuwaiti team is eager to repeat past glories with the national team once qualified to the World Cup in 1982 in Spain, becoming the first Arab-Asian team to reach the finals.
