Kuwaiti Jockey Ali Al-Kharafi won the 130 cm artificial hedges equestrian jump held at the International Shaqab Equestrian Championship 2015 in Doha, Qatar, crossing the finish line at 28.13 seconds.
The Kuwaiti jockey also came in third place in the time challenge race for the 145 cm equestrian jump, finishing that at 66.32 seconds.
Speaking to KUNA, Al-Kharafi affirmed that he was happy about the result and vowed to do his best in the remaining phases of the championship.
The international championship began last Monday and will continue till Saturday with the participation of jockeys from across the globe.
