He commended the organising committee and administrative staff for their enduring efforts to make the XCAT Series a world-class water sport competition, which started years ago in the UAE waters.
"The organising committee is busy rearranging everything for 2015 XCAT Series after the successful Dubai International Boat Show," Harib said.

The first round of the world championship was held in February 2015 at Fujairah Corniche, in which the Abu Dhabi team won the major race title.
The 2015 UIM XCAT World Powerboating Championship calendar includes eight rounds starting in Fujairah. After the second round in Dubai, the Series will move to Europe for its third and fourth rounds in May and July respectively and then to the City of Gold Coast of Australia in August.
The series will also visit another Asian city before it comes back to the GCC followed by Dubai and Abu Dhabi where the 7th and 8th rounds will be held in November this year.
