Under the directives of His Highness General Sheikh Mohamed bin Zayed Al Nahyan, Crown Prince of Abu Dhabi and Deputy Supreme Commander of the U.A.E. Armed Forces, H.H. Sheikh Nahyan bin Zayed Al Nahyan, Chairman of the Board of Trustees of Zayed bin Sultan Al Nahyan Charitable and Humanitarian Foundation and Chairman of the Abu Dhabi Sports Council, has issued a decision to establish the Abu Dhabi Aero Sports Club.
H.H. Sheikh Nahyan bin Zayed Al Nahyan also issued a directive to establish a Board of Directors of the Club, with a two-year membership. The Board will be headed by Sheikh Hussein bin Ali bin Rashid Al Mualla. Sheikh Nahyan also named Jasim Yousef Al Mansouri as Vice President of the Board of Directors, and Hassan Ali Abdullah Al Attar as Executive Director.
The Abu Dhabi-based Abu Dhabi Aero Sports Club will encourage all aviation related sports, including skydiving. The club will also help raise awareness and knowledge about aero sports, make them popular in the U.A.E., and provide a suitable and safe environment for those interested in engaging in aero sports.
