UAE champion biker Mohammed Balooshi is set to embark on the last leg of his quest to end the season with a world top-10 position in the FIM Cross Country Rally World Championships in Morocco.
The Emirati, who is brimming with confidence as he heads towards the final race of the world championship calendar, will become the first Arab rider to achieve at top ten finish in the world rankings.
Speaking ahead of the final contest in a gruelling season, Balooshi said: "Chile was the most difficult race with tough conditions but we worked very hard to compete with the top ranked teams. Their bikes are more powerful than mine and reach speeds of 200km/h whereas I have been using the same machine and engine all season.
"I am happy and excited to be in a position where I can make history by becoming the first Arab to finish in the top ten and I will need to be consistent throughout the challenge to secure an overall top ten finish," added Balooshi. The Rally OiLibya del Marocco is set to conclude the World Championships 2015 Cross Country Rally from October 3-9
