Rabat - Arabstoday

Morocco is the remaining bidder to host the 2013 and 2014 FIFA Club World Cups.  Iran, South Africa and the United Arab Emirates withdrew their bids to host the prestigious tournament in 2013 and 2014. FIFA will now review all the relevant paperwork, including financial guarantees before making a decision in December. If approved, Morocco would be the first African nation to host the FIFA Club World Cup. Japan will host the 2011 and 2012 editions, after the UAE did so in 2009 and 2010.
