National Guard Chief congratulates IRONMAN winner

National Guard Commander Lieutenant-General His Highness Shaikh Mohammed bin Isa Al-Khalifa sent a cable of congratulations to Royal Guard Commander Brigadier His Highness Shaikh Nasser bin Hamad Al-Khalifa on his qualification for the IRONMAN World Championship, which will be held in Hawaii in October 2018.
HH Shaikh Nasser was able to qualify for the international event after winning first place in the IRONMAN Middle East Amateur Championship which was hosted by Bahrain from November 23 to 25.
HH Shaikh Mohammed bin Isa Al-Khalifa said that the Royal Guard Commander’s victory reflects his strenuous preparations and training for the championship.
He paid tribute to His Majesty King Hamad bin Isa Al-Khalifa for his support and keenness on promoting youth and sport, wishing HH Shaikh Nasser bin Hamad Al-Khalifa every success to continue honouring Bahrain at different Arab and international arenas.
