Oman beats Kuwait 1-0 in AFC match

The Omani team has beaten the Kuwaiti national football team 1-0 in the Group A of the 16th Asian Football Cup in Melbourne, Australia on Saturday.
Abdulaziz Al-Meqbali scored the sole goal in the game in the 70th minute. The Omani team missed two serious chances to score more.
The Kuwaiti national team had a couple of chances and tried hard to score an equalizer in the remaining time but to no avail.
Meanwhile, topping the Group A, South Korea beat Australia 1-0, with both teams advancing to the next round with nine points and six points respectively.
