Qatar golf championship concludes

US Youssef Dennis has won the 26th Qatar Open Amateur Championship, which was concluded Saturday in Doha Golf Club. Dennis clinched a spot in the Qatar Masers 2012. Dennis was tied with Bahraini Hamad Mubarak at +9. However Dennis came on top after playing a three-hole total-stroke playoff, earning 225 points. Vice President of Qatar Association of Athletics Federation Brigadier General Dahlan Jumaan Al Hamad and President of Qatar Golf Association Hassan Al Naimi as well as tournament director Thani Al Kuwari were present to hand the prizes to the winners.
