Rami Rabia
Cairo - Arab Today

Egypt international defender Rami Rabia has rejected a possible deal to join Al Ahly, Star Africa reported Monday.

The paper said that Sporting Clube de Portugal's player demanded an EGP 25-million salary for a contract until 2021, while the Egyptian club offered only EGP 18 million.

Rabia's request to be equated with first-level players as Gabonese and Malick Evouna and Ghanian John Antwi also did not find approval by Al Ahly.

Rabia left Al Ahly in 2014 summer to join the Lisbon-based club, but found it hard to break into the squad, so the 22-year-old has made up his mind about leaving the club.
