Former Atletico Madrid coach Quique Sanchez Flores is to take charge of United Arab Emirates side Al Ahli. The 46-year-old Sanchez Flores left Atletico this summer after two seasons with the Primera Division club, during which time he led helped the Rojiblancos win the Europa League and UEFA Super Cup in 2010, as well as reach the Copa del Rey final. The former Spain international, who has also been in charge of Getafe, Valencia and Benfica, is set to be presented by Al-Ahli on Thursday, the club announced on their website. Al Ahli have lost two of their opening three games of the new season and parted company with coach Ivan Hasek in the wake of Sunday's 2-0 loss to Al Shabab.
