Jeddah - Arabs Today

Saudi Falcons team finished the preparations for the new 2012-2013 racing season where the team underwent intensive training for the many championships of the Middle East racing season, which is expected to be highly competitive. Saudi Falcons are looking to win and become the leading competitor in the championships that they will take part in, first in the Karting World Championship (Under 18 years) round at Bahrain International Circuit on Nov. 8-10. The team will be represented in this championship by the driver Abdulla Al Thawadi, who will be seeking to give the team an early boost by achieving the first win in this season. Red Bull’s Abdulaziz Turki Al Faisal and Faisal Bin Laden will be competing in the first two rounds of the Porsche GT3 Cup Challenge Middle East Championship at Bahrain International Circuit on Nov. 16-17, with Abdulaziz hoping to get the first win in his title defense season. The most exciting will be the participation of Saud Turki Al Faisal in the Saudi Formula 2000 championship with its first round at Reem circuit in Riyadh on Nov. 29. Saud Al Faisal is looking for new achievements in the Saudi Formula 2000 championship after what he already achieved in the Saudi Radical championship during the previous years. Of the Saudi Radical championship the Saudi Falcons for some reason are likely to miss the first round to be held at Reem on Nov. 30. With the team preparation on its last stages Saudi Falcons Chief Executive Faisal Bin Laden said: “All members of the Saudi Falcons team are more than ready and prepared for the racing season of 2012-2013 and we are developing a new strategic plan to make the team the first competitor in all competitions we will take part in. We hope to God Almighty success in all races.” He also expressed confidence in the team, especially those who work behind the scenes from the organizers to administrators and mechanical team which trained at the highest level and got an extensive experience to face the most difficult conditions during the races. In closing, Bin Laden said “I hope that the combined efforts of the team will get us to reach the desired goal.” From : Arab News
