H.H. Dr. Sheikh Sultan bin Mohammed Al Qasimi, Supreme Council Member and Ruler of Sharjah, has issued an Emiri decree pertaining to the establishment of the Sharjah International Maritime Sports Club.
Decree No. 60 of 2014 stipulates the establishment of the Sharjah International Maritime Sports Club, which has the legal status and the full capacity to discharge the necessary legal acts in order to achieve the club's objectives. The main headquarters will be in Sharjah and may establish other branches in other cities and areas in the emirate.
Under the decree, the club will have a board of directors which comprises a chairman and a number of members who will be named by the Ruler or those on his behalf.
The decree also has specified a number of the club's specialties and authorities
