HM the King's Representative for Charity Work and Youths Affairs, the Supreme Council of Youth and Sports (SCYS)'s Chairman and Bahrain Olympic Committee (BOC)'s President, His Highness Shaikh Nasser bin Hamad Al Khalifa, today patronises the 10th Model United Nations (MUN)'s Sessions hosted by the General Organisation of Youth and Sports (GOYS) in Bahrain.
The GOYS has finalized all the administrative and organizational preparations to launch the programme in which 160 students from 12 Bahrain and 10 Gulf universities also participated.
The sessions discusses several items on the agenda of a typical UN General Assembly (UNGA)'s meeting aimed to eradicate all forms of violence against women, spread awareness about health, intellectual property rights, health care access, agricultural development, food security, prevention of juvenile crimes, rehabilitation of youths into the society, the International Atomic Energy Agency (IAEA)'s non-nuclear proliferation efforts, improvement of nuclear disaster resilience, the situation of Rohingya Muslims in Myanmar, bioterrorism, etc.
