Syrian player Yahiya Abu Moghdeb won the bronze medal at the Asian Physical Fitness Championship (Bench Press) in UAE.
Abu Moghdeb won the third place with a weight of 59 kg.
In a statement to SANA, Head of the Athletics Office of the General Sports Union Tarek Hatem said that Abu Moghdeb’s medal is a new achievement for the Syrian sport, especially that the player is a person with disability who managed to outperform other players in this tournament.
