The UAE's World Endurance and Circuit champion Khaled Al Qubaisi heads to France with his team ‘Abu Dhabi-Proton Racing' to participate in the pre-race test day for the 83rd edition of the world famous Le Mans endurance race, which will take place on June 13 and 14. Testing will take place on Sunday (May 31) on the Circuit de la Sarthe for one day only with 64 cars participating in the testing before the legendary race.
Backed by Emirates Global Aluminium and Etihad Airways, Abu Dhabi Racing driver Al Qubaisi is participating for the second year in a row in the FIA World Endurance Championship (FIA WEC) with the Abu Dhabi-Proton racing team along with his team mates Christian Reid and Klaus Bachler. At Le Mans last year, Al Qubaisi and his team put in a strong performance and came second in the LMGTE Am class aboard the Porsche 911 RSR.
