The 24 sides were divided into six groups of four teams to play a league of two rounds from March 2017 until March 2018, with 12 sides making it to the finals that will be hosted in January and February 2017.
Group A comprised Kyrgyz Republic, India, Myanmar and Macau, while DPR Korea were drawn in Group B alongside Hong Kong, Lebanon and Malaysia.
Jordan will be in Group C along with Vietnam, Afghanistan and Cambodia. Oman, meanwhile, will have to fight competition from Palestine, Maldives and Bhutan in Group D.

They are defending champions Australia, China, Iraq, Iran, Japan, Korea Republic, Qatar, Saudi Arabia, Syria, Thailand, Uzbekistan and hosts UAE.
