Paul Goldschmidt drove in three runs Sunday in Arizona's 7-4 victory over Washington, which snapped the Nationals' eight-game winning streak. Goldschmidt's two-run double in the third inning staked the D-backs to a 3-0 lead. The Arizona first baseman also added an RBI single during a four-run fifth that broke the game open. Aaron Hill, Justin Upton and Miguel Montero also delivered run-scoring hits in the big frame as the D-backs salvaged one win a three-game series. Patrick Corbin (4-4) held Washington to two runs on four hits over seven innings. The rookie left-hander didn't allow a walk and struck out seven in the effort. Washington's Ross Detweiler (6-5) was tagged for five runs (four earned) on three hits over 4 2/3 frames. Ryan Zimmerman, Adam LaRoche, Jayson Werth and Tyler Moore each drove in a run for the National League East-leading Nationals, who fell for the first time since Aug. 1.
