Brandon Belt drove in two runs in the ninth and then scored the go-ahead run Friday in the San Francisco Giants' 5-4 win over Oakland. Ryan Cook (2-2) started the inning for the A's, who scored three runs in the first and carried a 3-1 lead into the ninth. Cook put Buster Posey and Pablo Sandoval on with a pair of walks and Belt drove them in with a double. Belt went to third on a single by Justin Christian and Sean Doolittle came on in relief of Cook. Doolittle served up a single to Hector Sanchez that drove in Belt with the go-ahead run, and Christian and Sanchez then advanced on a sacrifice bunt by Joaquin Arias. Christian scored on a single by Gregor Blanco to give the Giants a 5-3 lead. The insurance run came in handy when Josh Reddick stroked a one-out solo home run for the A's in the bottom of the ninth. The late rally made a winner of Clay Hensley (3-3), who gave up one hit and one walk but no runs in 1/3 inning in relief. Santiago Casilla got the save, despite giving up the ninth-inning home run to Reddick. Giants starter Tim Lincecum allowed three runs on three hits over six innings, with four walks and eight strikeouts. Oakland starter Jarrod Parker went six innings, allowing one run on four hits with two walks and four strikeouts. Jemile Weeks, Seth Smith and Brandon Inge each drove in a run for Oakland.
