Kevin Love returned to his typically high-scoring self with 36 points Friday, sending Minnesota to a 91-73 rout of Cleveland. Love averaged 26 points a game last season, but had not reached the 20-point mark in any of his previous four outings. He ended that streak by going 10-of-19 from the field and making 14-of-18 from the foul line. He also grabbed 13 rebounds in boosting the Timberwolves to their fourth win in six games. Minnesota broke things open in the fourth period after taking a nine-point lead into the quarter. Luke Ridnour added 12 points for the Timberwolves, who went to the free throw line 35 times compared with just nine attempts for the Cavaliers. Alonzo Gee had 16 points for Cleveland, which lost its fourth in a row and has dropped its last nine on the road.
