Steve Novak drained eight 3-pointers en route to 25 points and J.R. Smith also netted 25 for New York. Tyson Chandler added 20 points and seven rebounds for the Knicks, who moved a game ahead of eighth-place Philadelphia following the 76ers' Tuesday loss to Indiana.
