Baseball Hall of Fame member Carlton Fisk pleaded guilty to driving under the influence in Joliet, Ill., Thursday, prosecutors said. Fisk -- an 11-time all-star as a member of the Chicago White Sox and Boston Red Sox -- was sentenced to one year of court supervision and fined $1,250. He faced the misdemeanor charge after being found passed out in a pickup truck in a farm field in New Lenox, Ill., the Chicago Tribune said. As part of his punishment, Fisk will be required to submit to drug and alcohol evaluation and counseling. He allegedly had consumed alcohol and prescription drugs during the Oct. 22 incident, the newspaper said. During Thursday's court proceedings, defense attorney Stephen White said Fisk "stepped up to the plate and said, 'I want to accept responsibility for what I did.'"
