Washington - UPI

Eduardo de la Riva used a 3-under-par 69 Friday to move into the front of a crowded leaderboard at the European Tour's Andalucia Open in Spain. De la Riva is at 8-under 136 for the tournament, one stroke ahead of five players and two ahead of eight others. In the group at 7-under 137 is first-round leader Matteo Manassero, who was 3-over after 14 holes but ended the day 1-over. Also at 7-under are Miguel Angel Jimenez (68 Friday), Pablo Larrazabal (69), Damien McGrane (68) and Tommy Fleetwood (69). The bunch at 138 is led by Edoardo Molinari, whose 7-under 65 was the round of the day Friday. De la Viva had a bogey at No. 2 but got to 2-under for the round with three birdies in his next five holes. He added a birdie at No. 11 but bogeyed the par-3, 230-yard 17th. He moved into the lead, however, with a birdie at 18.
