Cricket fans in the UAE are in for a treat over the next fortnight as two of the world’s best national teams go head-to-head in Dubai.
Pakistan and Sri Lanka will battle it out at the Dubai International Stadium in a five-day test match series before following it with a one day international, ODI. The ODI will be the first time Pakistan has played the one day game since winning the Champions Trophy in June this year. Pakistan fans will get opportunity to witness their star performers to revive memories of victory against India earlier this year.
The test match will also be in the sport’s new day-night format, a first for Sri Lanka, with the cricket starting at 3 p.m. before finishing under the lights late in the evening. The series begins on Friday 6th October and will finish on Tuesday 10th October.
