England's Adil Rashid (L)
Abu Dhabi - Arab Today

England declared their first innings against Pakistan on 598-9 as the first Test heads for a draw in Abu Dhabi on Saturday.

Paceman Imran Khan removed Adil Rashid for 12 while Stuart Broad (17) and James Anderson (3) remained unbeaten after England resumed at 569-8.

That gave England a lead of 75 runs over Pakistan's first innings of 523-8 declared, but not much time to force a result in the match.

Wahab Riaz was the best Pakistani bowler with 3-125.
