French international fly-half Remi Tales said Wednesday he will replace Ireland's starting No.10 Jonathan Sexton at Racing-Metro next season.
With Racing having been knocked out of the French Top 14 play-offs against Parisian rivals Stade Francais at the quarter-final stage last weekend, Sexton has now played his last game for the French capital side ahead of a return to Leinster.
And Tales took to Twitter on Wednesday to reveal that he will be leaving 2013 French champions Castres to join big-spending Racing, now coached by Laurent Labit and Laurent Travers, who guided Castres to the title two years ago.
"The Castres adventure is coming to an end, now for a new challenge at Racing," said Tales.
"But first I will do everything to represent France at the World Cup."
Tales, 31, was born in Mont-de-Marsan and played for his home town club for four years before joining La Rochelle in 2006.
His big break, though, came in 2011 when he moved to Castres where two years later he earnt his first France call-up before helping his club beat newly-crowned European champions Toulon to the 2013 Top 14 crown.
