Henrik Lundqvist continued his game-seven dominance, stopping 35 shots as the New York Rangers beat the Pittsburgh Penguins 2-1 to reach the National Hockey League playoff semi-finals. Lundqvist, of Sweden, has won each of his last five elimination contests and he on Tuesday improved to 10-2 in his career in game sevens. Forward Brad Richards scored the winner in the second period for the Rangers who rallied from a 3-1 series deficit to win the NHL second round playoff series four games to three. They advance to the final four where they will face the winner of another quarter-final series game seven between Boston-Montreal set for Wednesday night. Finland's Jussi Jokinen scored the lone goal and netminder Marc-Andre Fleury stopped 18 shots for Pittsburgh who are 7-7 all-time in game sevens. Richards scored the winner on the power play with just under eight minutes gone in the second period after taking a pass from fellow Canadian Martin St. Louis. Richards positioned himself near the goal line to the right of Fleury where St. Louis fed him the pass. It was Richards' fourth goal of the playoffs. Source: AFP
