Ricky Romero threw eight strong innings Sunday and the Blue Jays banged out 13 hits in their 7-2 victory over Baltimore. The left-hander allowed four hits over eight frames, striking out five and issuing no walks. J.P. Arencibia and Jose Bautista each contributed two-run doubles and John McDonald added three hits and a pair of RBI for the Blue Jays, who took the rubber match of a three-game series. The Jays' Brett Lawrie chipped in with his first major league homer. O's starter Alfredo Simon (3-5) was lit up for six runs (four earned) on 10 hits while suffering the loss. Mark Reynolds socked a pair of solo homers for Baltimore.
