Dubai - Arabstoday

Pakistan cricket team players Younus Khan, Shahid Afridi and Umar Gul will be the guests of honour at the presentation ceremony of the inaugural Nesto Double Wicket Cricket Tournament, according to a press release. The event will take place on February 28 at the Municipality Play grounds at Jebel Ali Industrial Area 1. Up to 32 teams will be in the fray for the one-day event on Friday. The venue of the tournament is located in a labour community with thousands of workers' accommodation and support staff accommodation of leading companies in UAE. The tournament offers a unique opportunity to light up the lives of some of them living in abject isolation. The first round of the tournament will see 16 matches between the 32 teams, whittling down the number to teams to 16 in the second round and then the quarter-finals, semi-finals and final.
