Wales rugby great Jamie Roberts admits he is trying to put the uncertainty over his club future to the back of his mind as he prepares for Sunday's European Champions Cup home quarter-final between his present side Racing-Metro and last season's finalists Saracens.
The 28-year-old centre -- capped 69 times since making his debut in 2008 and selected for two British and Irish Lions tours -- told AFP it had been tough to play in the recent Six Nations championship and focus on club rugby with people constantly asking about where he would be next season.
"I am still not sure what I will do at the end of the season," said Roberts, who has been linked with both a return to former club Cardiff Blues and also to English side Harlequins.
"There have been a lot of discussions on this topic and I will tell all when everything has been resolved."
While Racing have denied the links with Cardiff -- whom he left for the Paris club in 2013 -- or Harlequins Roberts like his compatriot Dan Lydiate has found it difficult to juggle the demands of his country's needs and that of his club.
Lydiate eventually gave up and left Racing last autumn.
"There is a lot of speculation," said Roberts, who was a pivotal member of the Wales side that won the Six Nations Grand Slam in 2012 -- he played only a peripheral part in their 2008 clean-sweep -- and reached the 2011 World Cup semi-final.
"It was not ideal to play in the Six Nations and now to return to focussing on my club's programme without knowing what the future holds.
"It is important to put that to the back of ones' mind and to focus on the job in hand.
"I leave my agent to handle these type of things," commented Roberts, who added he expected the matter to be resolved before the end of the season.
