Norwegian ski jumper Phillip Sjoeen
Klingenthal - Arab Today

Promising young Norwegian ski jumper Philipp Sjoen suffered a horror fall in training as the new World Cup season got off to a dramatic start on Friday.
The 18-year-old lost his balance on the large hill at Klingenthal in Germany and crashed heavily to the ground.
However, it was later confirmed that the teenager had escaped serious injury.
"Phillip was taken to a hospital for an x-ray examination and no fractures were diagnosed. He will not be competing this weekend, but we hope that he will be able to take part in the World Cup in Lillehammer two weeks from now," Norway's team leader Clas-Brede Braathen told www.fis-ski.com.
Klingenthal launches the World Cup season on Saturday with a team event followed by the first individual contest on Sunday.
