Sebastian Vettel topped the times for Red Bull during Saturday morning's final practice for Sunday's British Grand Prix. The 24-year-old German and defending driver's champion clocked a best lap time of one minute 31.401 seconds in what was the weekend's first predominantly dry session at the Silverstone track. He pipped Spaniard Fernando Alonso of Ferrari by 0.06 seconds. Australian Mark Webber was third quickest in the second Red Bull followed closely by Brazilian Felipe Massa in the second Ferrari. Williams driver Brazilian Pastor Maldonado was fifth fastest ahead of Briton Jenson Button of McLaren. Another strong performance from Japanese Kamui Kobayashi of Sauber saw him finish the session seventh fastest followed by Nico Rosberg of Mercedes. Mexican Sergio Perez followed in the second Sauber ahead of Scot Paul Di Resta who was tenth fastest. Seven times champion Michael Schumacher wound up 11th in the second Mercedes after the German suffered a gearbox problem midway through the session. Crowd favourite Briton Lewis Hamilton was 13th quickest in the second McLaren.
