German driver Sebastian Vettel Red Bull claimed the title of the Japanese Grand Prix in Suzuka, Japan on Sunday. The defending world champion Vettel, starting from the pole position led all the way from start to clinch the convincingvictory. Ferrari's former world champion Fernando Alonso, leader of the championship, crashed out of the circuit in the early stage of the race, only to see his leading margin cut to 4 points by Vettel. The Spaniard's teammate, Felipe Massa hit the finishing line 20.6 seconds behind Vettel, while Sauber's Japanese driver Kamui Kobayashi finished third in front of the local fans.
