The Chicago White Sox announced prices for some tickets and parking will go down next season following six consecutive seasons of declining attendance. The team said lower deck corner seats will be available in 2013 for $20, with upper deck corner seats selling for $7, the Chicago Sun-Times reported Friday. The White Sox said the reduced ticket prices will not apply to Opening Day or two games against the Chicago Cubs, scheduled for May. The team said parking prices -- currently $25 and $23 -- will be lowered to $20. About 87 percent of season tickets will remain the same price or be reduced in price, the team said. Prices will be reduced by an average 26 percent on more than 54 percent of season tickets, officials said. The Sox have recorded falling attendance for six straight seasons for the first time since 1965-1970.
