Switzerland's Olympic downhill champion Didier Defago won the men's World Cup Super-G race at the Austrian resort of Kitzbuehel on Sunday. The 36-year-old -- who is set to compete in his fourth Winter Games in Sochi next month -- timed 1min 10.38sec to edge out in-form American star Bode Miller by five hundredths of a second. Norwegian Aksel Lund Svindal's rewarding weekend continued as he further extended his lead in the overall World Cup standings by finishing equal third in the Super-G. The 31-year-old -- the defending Super-G Olympic champion -- was 15 hundredths off the pace along with Austrian Max Franz. Source: AFP
