France coach Didier Deschamps took a philosophical approach on Monday to the recent international bans handed down to Rennes midfielder Yann Mvila and four other players after a night on the town while on duty for the French under-21 team. "That is how it is, the commission have taken their decision as you know. He (Mvila) can appeal but that is not up to me," were the brief remarks from the former Monaco, Juventus and Marseille coach. Mvila was banned until June 30, 2014 by the French football federation after being the main organiser of a booze-fuelled night out in Paris, along with Antoine Griezmann, Mbaye Niang, Wissem Ben Yedder and Chris Mavinga, between two European under-21 playoff matches, that eventually led to France being eliminated by Norway. Deschamps is preparing the senior team for a prestige friendly against Italy on Wednesday in Parma.
