Former French international Thierry Henry suffered a strained hamstring on Saturday after scoring the winner in a 1-0 victory for New York Red Bulls over New England Revolution in Major League Soccer. It was not immediately known how long the 34-year-old playmaker, who had scored his league-leading ninth goal of the season in the seventh minute, would be sidelined. The injury seemingly came out of nowhere. With Mehdi Ballouchy leading a break on the left flank, Henry was racing down the middle anticipating a pass. But some 30 metres from the goal, Henry's leg buckled and he slid to the ground in pain before being helped from the pitch.
