Top 14 side Racing-Metro's injury crisis deepened on Tuesday when wing Julien Saubade was ruled out for the rest of the season after twisting both his left knee and ankle and ruptured cruciate ligaments. The 29-year-old - who could be out for up to eight months - suffered the horrific injury when he was tackled without the ball by France wing Vincent Clerc in last Thursday's 32-13 defeat by Toulouse. Saubade is the seventh Racing first choice player to be ruled out for a lengthy period, among them fullback Benjamin Dambielle and fly-half Jonathan Wisniewski. Dambielle and Wisniewski were ruled out for several months when they suffered ruptured cruciate ligaments and a herniated disc respectively in early September.
