Leading member of Algeria’s National and Democratic Tagammou Mohamed Qeji revealed that his party’s Director General Ahmed Oyahia will supervise the organization of the party’s electoral campaign in the most of Algerian governorates. He added that the party leadership gave orders to the candidates of the party to hold meeting with the people.
He added, in an interview with “Arabs Today”, that the political party will focus during its electoral speech on the ways to resolve the current economic crisis witnessed in the country during the current period. He added that the current economic situation comes as a result of the decline of the oil prices in the international markets since 2014.
He added that the party will work to overcome the current crises witnessed in the country through conducting a dialogue between the different political parties to find serious solutions for the current problems on the economic and social levels.
He added that the Algerian government should not demand the Europeans to provide them with only loans, while to establish an investment fund. He stressed that the Europeans will accept the Algerian demand, as they work currently to find serious solution for the crisis of immigration. He added that they will support such funds aiming to support projects that could resolve the problems of those Tunisians aspiring to leave their country.
He added that the businesspersons fear the absence of political will of the Algerian state, saying that they could withdraw from the Algerian scene if they felt that the syndicates controlled the government.
He added that the Algerian government needs to change its economic approach, while such objective would not be achieved without dialogue, saying that the Algerian dialogue should not be limited to the social and economic sides, while to extend to the political level.
