Regarding the developments of Ethiopia’s Renaissance Dam, the parliamentarian praised the efforts exerted by Egypt’s President Abdel Fattah Al Sisi, saying that the Egyptian government gives the priority to cooperation with Africa. He stressed that the visits conducted by the Egyptian president to the African states came strengthen Egypt’s relations with them.

He blamed the media channels and newspapers for aggravating the tension between Egypt and Saudi Arabia, describing the relations between the two countries as historic. He raised the importance of strategic relations between Cairo and Riyadh. He added that the Egyptian position from the Syrian crisis is different from the Saudi position, stressing that each country works to achieve its own interests.
