Jamal al-Khuda
Gaza - Arab Today

Chairman of the People's Committee to Counter the Siege Jamal al-Khudari said that the Gaza Strip was already suffering from a power outage, years ago, saying that the recent crisis came after the Israeli downsizing of a number of lines.
He added that the crisis came as a result of the siege in general, noting that "during the years of the siege of the 10 there was a significant increase in the population, equivalent to half a million citizens who needed increase in services, utilities, hospitals, schools, and all walks of life.
He stressed that the Israeli blockade is the direct cause of all that is happening in Gaza, and the occupation was from the beginning a barrier to any possibility of developing or finding solutions for the sector. He praised the Egyptian governmental decision to provide the strip with fuel, while he said that it covered the notable decline in the available fuel , while it did not improve the daily life of Palestinians living in Gaza.
He added that the crisis is raging everything in the Gaza Strip, especially the health sector, which works miraculously, also affected the water and stop the treatment of sewage, which is very serious problem during the current period.
He said that Gaza will not remain hostage to the interests of Palestinian conflicting groups calling for cooperation between the different groups to neutralize the vital sectors from the political conflicts witnessed in the country to ease the suffering of the Palestinian people living in the Gaza Strip.
He added, in an interview with “Arabs Today”, that the front called in its political meetings to resolve the issue of division, saying that activities of the Front were not enough to force the two parties to split by ending it because their mass power is greater and their personal and personal interests are greater than the national interest.
He blamed bureaucratic complexities involved in the transactions of "medical transfers" to the residents of the Gaza Strip, saying that these complications are designed to impede the conversion of patients who are in urgent need of rapid treatment away from these steps. He added, “There is nothing new about medical transfers except "sweet talk" without any serious action to resolve the crisis of our people in the Gaza Strip after the death of 5 people within 48 hours.”
