Tunisian activist Mustafa Abdel Kabeer revealed that the Sweden government deported 54 Tunisians existed in a camp for illegal immigrants as the Tunisian embassy refused to interfere to help them.
He added that the Sweden government addressed the embassy to interfere, while the Tunisian diplomats igored the issue forcing the authorities to take the decision to deport then from the Sweden territories.
The activist said, in a statement to "Arabs Today", that the Tunisian government will be forced to pay 12 thousand dinars for each deported illegal immigrant. He noted that the Egyptian, Algerian and Moroccan embassies followed the issues of their citizens, demanding the authorities to review their cases to provide them with the state of refuge.
He added that a number of Sweden organizations expressed their astonishment over the position adopted by the Tunisian embassy towards its citizens.
