French President Francois Hollande said that he will pay a visit soon to Egypt, Jordan and Oman to discuss the conditions in Syria, Iraq and Yemen.
There is an urgent need to reach a political solution as part of the United Nations resolutions, Hollande added in a speech to members of the diplomatic corps in France.
Hollande, meanwhile, pointed out to the situation in Yemen and the fall of many victims there, saying that this poses a threat to the whole region.
Hollande said a de-escalation of tensions between Iran and Saudi Arabia is necessary and France is willing to play a role in this.
Iran's return to the international scene was "now possible" after a nuclear deal saw sanctions lifted against the country, he added.
"We must do everything to work together for stability in the region," he added.
