Spokesman of the Yemeni army Abdo Abdullah Majali said that the national army supported by the Arab Coalition achieved its victories on all fronts and achieved a positive role to restore large swaths of the Yemeni territories. He added that they performed a major role in the liberation of Jabal al-Nar and Jabal Nabta and besieged Khaled Ben Al Waleed Camp in Taiz from the southern and western sides.
Brigadier General Abdo Abdullah Majali spoke in an interview with "Arabs Today", who is also Advisor to the Chief of General Staff, on the importance of Khalid Bin Al Waleed camp, saying that "The camp represents a strategic military importance, because it links between the three districts of Taiz, As well as the main traffic between the provinces of Taiz and Hodeidah. In addition, he added, it is characterized by large number of weapons stores, medium and heavy, and it is of great importance in securing the coastal city of Mokha and the western coast of Taiz.
He said that the liberation of Khalid bin al-Waleed camp will be a significant sign in the completion of the liberation of Taiz provincefrom the Huthi group to pave the way for launching a new military operation against the insurgents of the province of Hodeidah.
He added that it will have a positive role in the protection of the port of Mokha, which will be alternative to the port of Hodeidah to receive logistical support, food, relief and Humanitarian and health aids, instead of the port of Hodeidah, which was controlled by the Houthi armed group, and deprived the citizens and beneficiaries of humanitarian and food aid to reach them, but it turned to their war effort.
Brigadier Majali stressed that "all the other fronts whether in Asilan and Nhmah, the eastern gate of Sana'a and Sarawah in Marib, have witnessed great progress, while Kadaha Front, south of Taiz, is still witnessing violent confrontations in which the Yemeni Armed Forces managed to achieve notable progress during the recent period.
