Madrid - Xinhua

Matchday five in the Spanish BBVA Primera Liga has what promises to be one of the games of the season when FC Barcelona entertain Atletico Madrid in the Camp Nou Stadium on Saturday night. Atletico travel to Barcelona in good form and with their confidence sky high after 4-0 wins against Sporting Gijon and Racing Santander. New striker Radamal Falcao is in fine form and has scored five goals in the last two games. Barcelona maintained their unbeaten start to the campaign with a 2-2 draw in Valencia on Wednesday night, but failure to beat Atletico will raise doubts about lack of form. The Catalans are still without injured duo, Andres Iniesta and Alexis Sanchez and their injury list lengthened on Thursday with the news that Ibrahima Affelay has damaged a knee ligament and will probably miss the rest of the season. It is crisis time in the Santiago Bernabeu Stadium where Real Madrid entertain local side Rayo Vallacano. Storm clouds are gathering over Jose Mourinho following five points dropped away to Levante and Racing Santander and failure to beat Rayo will only heighten worries over divisions in the Madrid dressing room and dissatisfaction with the coach. Saturday also sees Valencia look to maintain their unbeaten start to the season away to fifth placed Sevilla. Valencia have lost midfielder David Albelda through injury, but will hope in-form striker Roberto Soldado can add to his five goals already this season. Athletic Club Bilbao need to produce a convincing display when they entertain Villarreal in San Mames. Athletic have one point from four games under new coach Marcelo Bielsa and it is the Basque club' s worst start to a campaign in 32 years. Defeat to Villarreal will raise serious doubts about Bielsa's ability to lead the club, just over an month into the season. Sunday's matches see Mallorca entertain Real Sociedad. Mallorca have just three points this season and have lost their last three matches. There are rumors that defeat to Real Sociedad could cost coach Michael Laudrup his job. Levante will hope to achieve their third successive win when Espanyol visit their Ciudad de Valencia stadium: Levante are unbeaten this season, while Espanyol struggle away from home. Elsewhere Granada will hope for their second win of the season when they entertain Osasuna, who look to have recovered from their 8-0 drubbing in Barcelona a week ago, while in form Malaga will fancy their chances away to a Zaragoza side that will look to the talents of winger Juan Carlos Perez to see them to their second win of the season. There is also a crisis match in Gijon where Sporting have lost their first four matches of the campaign. Sporting face Racing Santander, who are also winless despite their creditable draw against Real Madrid in midweek. League leaders Betis close the round of games when they visit Getafe on Monday. Betis are without suspended goalkeeper Casto Espinosa, who was sent off in Thursday's win against Zaragoza.
