Newcastle United defender Fabricio Coloccini has been recalled by Argentina for their 15 August friendly against Germany after a three-year absence from the international scene. The 30-year-old centre-back was included in Alejandro Sabella's 18-man list of overseas-based players, which also featured Barcelona's Lionel Messi, Manchester City's Sergio Aguero and Paris Saint-Germain's Ezequiel Lavezzi. Sabella will add players from the Argentinian league to his group later this week for the Frankfurt encounter, which will be Argentina's final friendly before their FIFA World Cup™ qualifier against Paraguay on 7 September.
